MY FAVORITE LABYRINTH
LINKS |
The following websites have great information,
photos and graphics on the history and current uses of
labyrinths. Some offer group pilgrimages and some
offer resources for making your own labyrinth.

An open question, answer and discussion forum. Go to the
Society's homepage
for more background information, labyrinth events, an outline of various
labyrinth types through the ages, and a list of links from around the
world.
Reverend Geoffrion has been involved with labyrinths ever since she first
walked the labyrintgh at Chartres Cathedral in 1979. Author of many
books on the subject, her website has a variety of interesting
resources to
peruse (especially see her article on
Christian Uses
of Labyrinths). She also created a chakra colored
version of
the Chalice Labyirnth!
An extensive list of labyrinths in North Carolina listed by state regions
and some great photos of some of those labyrinths. A super addition
to labyrinths in the southeast U.S.
Some interesting photos of labyrinths around the world and of the step-by-step
construction of a permanent outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth. (On my
PC, the header for this page is really funky, so you might need to scroll
down).
Great site for photos, graphics and for studying the history of labyrinths.
See upper left-hand corner for the Labyrinth button. For
help in locating, orienting, and building a labyrinth, go to:

For additional dowsing information go to:
Canadian Society
of Dowsers or
Camelot
International. (links to the American Society of Dowsers are no
longer working)
This may be the grandfather of labyrinth sites for its research and
historical information.
This is a must stop for obtaining an understanding of labyrinth structures
that go well beyond the two mainstream designs of the 7-circuit Cretan and
the11-circuit Chartres . Alex Champion has been actively involved in the
research and building of labyrinths since 1987 and specializes in 3-D earthen
labyrinths. I have created a little side
page that quotes Alex from the
because I felt
it really speaks to the heart of this spiritual tool.
A wonderful site for beautiful labyrinths and interesting concepts.
Good place to find portable and lap (finger) labyrinths. Has a nice
photo gallery also. This is the source site for the Indiana Labyrinth
Coalition above.
Hundreds of links sorted by Location, Organizations/Retreat Centers,
References, Geomacy, Churches, Products, Individuals, Miscellaneous, Mazes,
and Sacred Geometry. This is also the home of Robert Ferre's website
which has an abundance of labyrinth information and services.
A good overall site for metaphorical and psychological information.
Credited with the re-emergence of interest in labyrinths in U.S.
